Brand Shoot for A Sustainable Clothing Company
Again & Again is a sustainable clothing brand who save clothes from landfill by upcycling them through dyeing and screen printing. It was such a joy to go to Jen's studio and see her at work on some new pieces of clothing. We created photos for both social media and website use and I had a documentary style approach to this session.
I let Jen do her work and I moved around her to get different angles and to tell the story in different ways. Occasionally, I would ask her to repeat something for the benefit of the camera - these guides from me can sound like the following phrases: "do that again with your other hand", "when you lift that up, find my camera lens with your eyes", "take a deep breath and on your exhale, bring in a warm smile"
